A FairyTao Wedding
Based on Koh Tao (Turtle Island), A FairyTao Wedding is a boutique event planning company specialising in wedding co-ordination on the tropical island in the Gulf of Thailand. Since 2009 they have organised over hundred of events in Koh Tao, as well as on the beautiful island of Koh Nang Yuan.
“We truly believe that Koh Tao is a special place. It invokes feelings of happiness, freedom, love and friendship, in anyone who has ever visited. It is one of a kind, and our hearts belong here. We hope to encourage others to come to this paradise island, and begin their lives together.” A FairyTao Wedding founders Vici and Paul Tanner met in Koh Tao, and fell in love with the island, as so many people do. In 2013 they started a new adventure with their family in Bali, Indonesia.
At A FairyTao Wedding, the focus is to be the trusted confidante and primary source of expert information. Offering an insight into the process of planning a special event, and bringing life to weddings, and other celebrations. Being a part of the Koh Tao local community, we have established strong and long-standing relationships with local vendors, industry partners, suppliers, and even within our team.
Our brides and grooms travel from all around the world. Many of them met and fell in love on Koh Tao. Some visited on numerous occasions before and returned with special memories, while many others are about to discover this beautiful paradise for their very first time. They share their vision with us regardless of where they came from. We are here to make their wishes a reality on Koh Tao.

Winnie | Wedding Planner
Winnie is from New York City and travelled to Southeast Asia in 2012. She is fluent in both Cantonese and English. Winnie later met Vici in 2013, the founder of A FairyTao Wedding. She was offered the exciting opportunity to start working as a wedding planner.
Prior to Southeast Asia, Winnie was a financial analyst at an investment bank in New York City. Her role focused on operations, project management, and most importantly risk control and mitigation. She spent 9 months in Cabarete, Dominican Republic, as a new business developer and beach resort manager. She fell in love with surfing and kite boarding. Later Winnie also became a scuba diving instructor in Koh Tao. She enjoys to be back in the water continue teaching in her spare time. Winnie met her now husband in the dive school. Together with their a super energetic yellow lab, and a new addition baby boy, they started their family in this tropical island.
Winnie takes pride in her work and is enthusiastic to bring pure joy to every event. She strives to make each and every wedding unique and personalized. Being Asian American and living in Thailand for over six years, Winnie understands what it takes to effectively bridge the cultural gaps, while delivering the wedding you dreamed of.
Elaine | Wedding Planner
Elaine is from the Southeast of England and first came to Koh Tao in 2003. She has worked with A FairyTao Wedding since 2013, and has an extensive background in the customer services industry in Thailand, and around the world. In 2017, she decided to become a wedding planner full time.
Elaine grew up in the hotel and catering industry, helping family with events from a young age and this is where she developed her desire for event planning. She is meticulous at organising every detail for your special day, and takes enormous pride in everything she does.
Prior to settling on Koh Tao, Elaine travelled and worked in Australia, the Philippines and Indonesia as an underwater videographer. Elaine has visited some amazing places, filmed some stunning underwater life and continues to scuba dive in various places around Asia.
